Lara has conceived and directed numerous aerial acts that have been booked nationally and internationally, including solo, duo and group pieces.

She is adept at directing and mentoring any part of the act-creation process. A bottomless source of quirky ideas for act inspirations, she is skilled at mining unusual sources for the research that is so essential to designing fresh, smart costumes and props. She has a rich catalog of games and practices for developing character and choreography. She also loves looking at acts that are "almost done," to help with final "deep cleaning" and adding the kind of finishing touches that really grab audiences!
